Bear mountain is awesome trails are good for the soul so is the views. I'm here with my wife and 2 daughters, we are have a blast. Went to Peekskill bar for diner it was alright they didn't have mac and cheese or a couple of others things the sliders were bland. The chicken fingers were good mozzarella sticks awesome they didn't have arugula salad but the Cobb was the best thing we ordered huge and tasty salad awesome. The tots were a hit too there were crunchy and soft with he cheese from the pretzel they were best. The pretzel was alright. All in all good experience and still more to go.
What a great bar and restaurant. The jalapeno poppers, gyro and pasta were delipious and the drinks were refreshing. Suzanne was lovely and so nice to us. We can't wait to return to this cozy place and play some darts!

Great place for drinks, watching sporting events, and top notch pub fare. Large outdoor dining area with cabanas. Added bonus of a game room in the rear with Pool Table, Darts and shuffleboard.
The lore of great burgers is true! My burger was huge and tasty! Sometimes you can only achieve one when considering food portions and taste. The place is great for families to gather with young children. They can play pool, darts, and a curling type apparatus. Screens are everywhere to never miss a moment (even the bathroom). Truly one of a kind experience. Henry was our server. He was fabulous at conversation, loves his work, and a true Peekskill local who used to work at the Peekskill Brewery (ain’t there no more). Stop by during the week for drink and food specials (M-F). Stop by anytime for a $5 shot!
Peekskill Pub is a great spot when you want both solid service and a menu with a lot of variety. The food selection really stands out because there’s something for pretty much everyone, from wings, burgers, and sandwiches to salads, pizza, seafood, and even desserts, so it never feels like the kind of place where you’re stuck choosing between only a few basic options. The service has also always been a big plus, with a staff that keeps things moving and makes the experience easy and enjoyable. Between the friendly atmosphere, the strong food selection, and the quality of the service, Peekskill Pub is definitely a place worth coming back to.
Stopped by while on our way back from Bear Mountain for a beer and a burger. The burger was delicious! Highly recommend it to anyone in the area!
Great spot to kick back and relax. The outdoor area is like sitting in your own backyard. Was just passing through the area and stopped in for a quick bite. Burger was very good!

Being that Peekskill Public Bar & Grill is right here in my hometown, I’ve been wanting to stop by for a long time. After taking my vehicle through the car wash, I was starving and craving a really good burger. On my way down, I passed by this spot again and finally decided to give it a try — and I’m glad I did. Dana the bartender was great, polite, and very welcoming. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable, just the way I like it — not too noisy. I ordered the Cajun Bleu Bacon Burger, and it was perfect. Dana mentioned the burger is made from house-ground brisket, and she absolutely meant it. You can truly taste the difference. Huge difference compared to Table 9. This place definitely won a spot in my heart. I’ll absolutely be coming back for another round.
